It's not easy to cap a night featuring powerhouse performances from Lil Wayne, T.I., Kid Rock and more. So when VMA producers wanted to turn their moment into something genuinely monumental, they knew wHO to call to fill up the demo: Mr. Kanye West.
"He's one of the most leading hip-hop performers of his time," aforementioned Dave Sirulnick, executive manufacturer of the VMAs. "He makes sure that non only the people in the nominal head row ar into his show, simply the the great unwashed in the last row are smell it as well. Everybody is touch it the same.
